What we do
In 2003 Northwave invested in creating a new type of software development service based in China. Unlike the typical "outsource"operation,our China operation is wholly owned and run by Northwave. We have a rapidly growing team based in Hangzhou near Shanghai and we project manage their efforts entirely from our Northwave UK base.
This essentially provides exactly the same highly skilled and sophisticated software development capabilities that you would expect from a service based in the United Kingdom, but with an entirely different cost and scalability potential.
Why it works
It works because of the unique capabilities found in the China environment. We see the critical success factors behind the China model as:
